Cheddar EXCLUSIVE: Revry Joins Comcast’s Xfinity X1 as Newest Network

Revry CEO, Damian Pelliccione, was interviewed this morning on Cheddar Business, the millennial-minded financial and business network, to announce the queer streaming network’s upcoming expansion into the Comcast family.

Revry’s newest partnership adds to the network’s growing availability–not just on its own direct to consumer apps–but also on mainstream streaming services, a list which already includes XUMO and Pluto TV–a recent, high-profile acquisition by Viacom. With this newest partnership, Revry has expanded its reach to over 50 million homes in only 3 short years.

The queer-focused, founded, and operated streaming network has enjoyed considerable traction in recent months including the relaunch of its native apps as a hybrid of subscription, ad-supported, and transactional, their partnership with LGBTQ not-for-profit the Trevor Project as their exclusive streaming network of TrevorLIVE, and the selection of their first original documentary feature as the centerpiece film for the Human Rights Campaign’s upcoming conference this weekend.

Pelliccione also used his appearance on Cheddar as an opportunity to encourage fans, customers, and investors alike to join the Revry team of owners through their equity crowdfunding campaign on SeedInvest.

“As an inherently community-driven company, Revry is thrilled to be able to take advantage of the SeedInvest platform and actually invite our community to become an owner in our company,” said Pelliccione.

The Revry campaign has presently reached almost 90% of its goal and will be closing soon, so Pelliccione encourages anyone who is interested to act now.

“We are thrilled that the community has embraced us and is helping us achieve our goal and we don’t want anyone to miss their chance to join us in redefining the face of queer entertainment.”
