GNetwork360 10th Anniversary Conference – Buenos Aires – Aug 16 2017

The team at GNetwork360, headed up by Pablo De Luca and Gustavo Noguera, outdid themselves this year with their 10th Anniversary LGBT International Business & Tourism Conference, held at the stately Alvear Palace Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.  With a wide range of sponsors and partners, including Delta Airlines, IBM, Argentina Tourism and the city of Buenos Aires, the week’s events brought together quite the diversity in the LGBT business community from Argentina, Latin America and from around the world.

The opening presentation was done by Thomas Roth of Community Marketing & Insights, where he presented to a full house on some of the research his company has done regarding LGBT travel to Argentina, as well as the Argentinian LGBT community’s travel habits outside of Argentina.

Next up, Xiaofeng (Charlie) Gu presented on the LGBT Chinese traveler.

Paul Gauger of Visit Britain presented on their recent campaign #LoveIsGreatBritain

Davey Wavey and Duane Wells teamed up to present on LGBTQ Influencer Content for Travel Brands.

Wrapping up the day was Peter Jordan presenting on the 2nd global LGBTQ travel report by the UN World Tourism Organization and IGLTA, as well as Meg Cale of Dopes on the Road, presenting on the LGBTQ Travel Styles of Generation Z and the Millennials.

Coupled with the day’s events was an afternoon trade show, with various hotels and destinations from Argentina, Latin America and as far away as Miami and New York!

It was a wonderful day for LGBT business & tourism in Argentina!
