Historical Walking Tours of Buenos Aires

We’ve heard some great testimonials over the years from folks we know taking various historical walking tour of Buenos Aires, so we decided it was time to meet up with Marcelo Mansilla of Cicerone BA and find out for ourselves!

There was so much to start with in this incredible city, ranging from the architecture and steak houses of San Telmo, the eclectic neighborhoods of Palermo and the city center emanating from the Casa Rosada, just to name a few. We decided we’d tour the historic Recoleta Cemetery, where we were promised we’d learn more than just that Evita Peron was buried here.

A little history about some of the various tombs & mausoleums at the Recoleta Cemetery

After the cemetery, we dropped by the Ateneo Grand Splendid bookstore, named by National Geographic the most beautiful bookstore in the world!

If you’re traveling to Buenos Aires and have some time, be sure to book Marcelo for your own personal guided walking tour… you won’t be disappointed!!!
