In Advance of Global Convention in New York City, Pink Banana Media to Hold Pre-Conference Reception At Aspire at One World Observatory

The IGLTA Annual Global Convention to be Held April 24-27

Pink Banana Media, in partnership with the International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association (IGLTA) and sponsored by Metrosource, Brkthru Digital, Vacaya and Puerto Vallarta, today announced that the organization will host a pre-conference reception just before the start of its Global Convention, at Aspire at One World Observatory, located on the 102nd floor of OneWorld Trade Center in New York City, on April 23, 2019.

The pre-conference reception will kick off the week’s festivities, which will extend through April 27. This is Pink Banana Media’s second pre-conference reception, following the success of its first event held in Toronto in May 2018.

The IGLTA Annual Global Convention is the world’s premier educational and networking event for LGBTQ tourism professionals. The 36th edition of the conference will connect gay, lesbian and gay friendly travel and tourism suppliers and buyers through its hosted buyer and scheduled appointment program, numerous educational workshops and networking receptions.

“This reception is our way of celebrating and bringing together all of the incredible people we’ve worked with in New York over the years, while partnering with organizations that have been instrumental in our success along the way,” states Matthew Skallerud, President of Pink Banana Media. “If you’re coming to New York City for the upcoming IGLTA 36th Anniversary Convention April 24-27, 2019, we invite you to join us, where you’ll meet some incredible LGBTQ movers and shakers in the local New York City business community, as well as LGBTQ Influencers and other new media individuals who have become ever-more relevant in 2019.”

“As a pillar of the downtown community and a destination for global travelers, we are honored to partner with Pink Banana Media to host members and friends of the International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association at the 2nd Annual Pre-Conference Reception,” said Keith Douglas, Managing Director of One World Observatory. “We are excited to be among the hundreds of businesses to not only attend the conference but host the reception. We look forward to a successful event and extending the spirit through WorldPride in June.”
