Laguna Beach Turned It Out for OC Pride in 2017

As part of Pride Month in 2017, Orange County held an incredible festival and parade right in the heart of downtown Santa Ana… an area that is fast becoming the hub of LGBT life south of West Hollywood and Long Beach.  And Laguna Beach became an integral part of this year’s festivities, hosting a group of LGBT influencers while simultaneously holding the official OC Pride beach party on Sunday right in the heart of Laguna’s gay beach, complete with a re-opening for one night only of the infamous Boom Boom Room!!!

The weekend started on Friday, June 23rd, when the LGBT influencer group met up on the rooftop of Mozambique, with great drinks and gorgeous views of the sun setting over Laguna Beach.  After an evening of cocktails and dinner, including a piano bar performance while dining, everyone was set and ready for the festivities to begin on Saturday.

Staying over the entire weekend at the Ranch at Laguna Beach, one couldn’t ask for a better Laguna Beach location, centered within walking distance of West Street Beach, Laguna’s gay beach and just a free Laguna Trolley ride away from the Boom Boom Room and the heart of Laguna Beach’s dining and art scene.

Saturday became a full day in Santa Ana, first with the OC Pride Parade and then the festival grounds themselves… with their variety of performances held throughout the day, the folks at Orange County Pride put together an incredible event this year.

On Sunday, the Laguna Beach Party began at 10 am and lasted throughout the day.  On top the agenda was West Street Beach of the beach packed with hot gay men and lesbian women from all throughout Southern California, followed by the Boom Boom Room opened up for just one afternoon and evening to celebrate the LGBT history of the community. The night closed with drinks and dancing at Main Street Bar & Cabaret.

As Visit Laguna pointed out, the Party Never Stopped! We can’t wait to see what happens in 2018!
