LGBT Week 2017 is Taking Shape for Best Year Ever

LGBT Week 2017, May 15-19, 2017 in New York, NY, is taking shape and is set to be our best week’s event thus far!  With an incredible team of partners, including Rivendell Media and Argentina, we’re also excited to welcome the folks at Hornet and Israel Tourism on board, as well as our returning sponsor, Q.Digital.

Monday starts off with some all-new programming brought to LGBT Week NYC by the folks at Slay TV.  Entitled “A Queer Media Up-Front“, this event will be a blend of networking, web series up-front and a 1-hour Q&A panel.  The event description is as follows: “Noticing the importance for diversity in media, Slay TV has combined the business models of TV production with media buying and software application to create a one stop shop of Queer content on the internet with a early focus on People of Color. Join LGBT Week NYC in one of NYC’s coolest neighborhoods for an Up-Front of new series and content coming to Slay TV and a panel about how to drive traffic and profits for a new generation of film makers. ”

Their recent docu-series The Other Boys NYC about the lives of 50 queer & transgender men of color in NYC has been a strong hit this month, with coverage and write-ups all throughout the Internet!

Later that evening, the folks at Out Professionals are hosting our LGBT Week NYC welcome reception, in conjunction with their group’s evening mixer.  This event will be held on the rooftop bar of Attic on 48th St. and 8th Ave.
