LPAC Launches Digital Ad Campaign To Get Out The Lesbian Vote For Hillary Clinton

Digital Ad Blitz Is First-of-its-Kind to Target LGBTQ Women in Swing States

In the final week before the election, LPAC – the nation’s first LGBTQ-women’s Super PAC – is launching a five-figure digital ad campaign to encourage LGBTQ-women to get out and vote.

The ads will run across top LGBTQ websites and news platforms, as well as on social media. The campaign will micro-target and geo-target LGBTQ-women in key swing states, including Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

“LGBTQ women have long been at the forefront of our social justice battles, helping achieve progress and working for equality,” said Beth Shipp, Executive Director of LPAC. “As fighters for LGBTQ rights, women’s rights and social justice, we know that
Hillary Clinton is the clear champion for our community. We also know that together, LGBTQ women make history – from suffrage to marriage equality. And this year, our community will do so once again.”

LPAC was the first national LGBTQ political organization to endorse Hillary Clinton in April of 2015.

LPAC builds the political power of lesbians and queer women by electing candidates who champion LGBTQ rights, women’s equality, and social justice. Founded in 2012 by experienced leaders in feminist, LGBTQ and social justice movements, LPAC has raised $2.1 million dollars from more than 1,500 donors across 48 states and the District of Columbia. LPAC has invested over $1.2 million in more than 40 races and independent expenditure campaigns throughout the country, and used the balance of its funds to organize, convene, network and build the political power of LGBTQ women.
