SHORTS AFTER DARK LINEUP at the Gold Standard Arts Festival

The Gold Standard Arts Festival, a multidisciplinary arts festival that celebrates emerging and established artists over fifty is pleased to announce its Saturday Night at the Movies lineup that includes Shorts After Dark hosted by Stella D’oro. The festival runs April 24 – May 1 on the Upper West Side and features evenings of comedy, cabaret, a jazz brunch and screenings of features, shorts, and documentaries.
 
“You can’t have an over 50 fifty festival without an over 50 drag queen,” says festival co-director Caytha Jentis who wrote and directed the gay romantic dramedy The One (TLA Releasing).

At 9pm Stella D’oro will be hosting a block of soon to be cult classic short films. Stella D’oro has been doing outreach to the LGBTQIA+ nightlife community for over 17 years as the Queen of Vaccine (and currently the Queen Mum of Vaccine). Stella D’Oro aka John Sefakis has been the President of Dancers over forty since 2006 whose mission is to provide community support for dancers, choreographers and related artists, while paying it forward to the next generation.

INFO ABOUT 7PM FILM

GIVE OR TAKE, from Brooklyn based Writer/Director Paul Riccio, will have a special event screening at 7pm after being recently released by Breaking Glass Pictures. The film stars Dan in Real Life alum and two-time Tony winner Norbert Leo Butz alongside Jamie Effros (On), Joanne Tucker (The Report), and Cheri Oteri (Saturday Night Live). The filmmakers will be available for Q/A following the screening.
